I’ve used Anderson Service for more than 5 years. Their employees are always courteous, on time, knowledgeable and well trained. I have had many phone calls from other companies soliciting my business, some with lower rates. But I am of the opinion that you get what you pay for, and I would not consider changing to another company.

During the late hours of August 13th our A/C unit started making a strange noise. It would come on and off every few minutes and was getting louder. I was afraid it might damage the unit even more so I shut the A/C off completely. After informing my husband what I had done he insisted I call Anderson Service right away. I waited until about 4:30 Sunday morning and the call was answered by a pleasant sounding lady. After explaining the situation to her she assured me that a service man would be at our house later that morning. Your technician – Phil… – came and after checking the unit informed me the compressor had failed. It being a Sunday we would have to wait until the next day to get a replacement part.

The new compressor was delivered that Monday and Phil came back to install it in the afternoon. After working on the unit and completing the repair he came into the house to turn the system back on. Before he could get back outside the new compressor failed (a defective replacement?). Needless to say this upset all of us. Phil called your office to explain what had happened and said he knew where he could get another compressor.

The next morning he was back at our house by 8:30 AM with the needed part and in a while had us back in the COOL. Best of all the unit was still under warranty.

Phil is a very conscientious and dedicated technician – caring about the customers he serves. We are especially grateful as my husband is a stroke survivor and the temperature during these days were in the 90′s.

They put in a new heat pump… They did a very nice job. They do air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, appliance, cleaning generators and things like that. They are pretty big and they’ve been around since 1956. They actually have 2 companies in two different counties. I didn’t spend anything because it was a warranty call. I have a service agreement signed up for routine maintenance. They have different maintenance plans. They are pretty flexible as far as that goes.

I don’t remember the cost of the maintenance plan. They just do a basic cleaning and change of filter and things like that. I called them because I had checked around a little bit to see what companies were around and they are local and they’ve been in the business for quite a long period of time which made a difference to me. I probably got their name from someone in the neighborhood too. They are reputable and that’s why I called them. They were advertising in the local news papers. I had initially seen an advertisement when they were running some pretty good annual tax credits for replacing and upgrading the air conditioning units. They were offering some really good incentives and it was a good time to do it. Their price is competitive. I didn’t necessarily shop around for the lowest price. I would continue to use them in the future.

They did a complete re-piping of my duct system. It was done very well. The men did a good job and they were professional. The owner was easy to talk with and came-out for the original proposal. He took photographs, provided valuable information about A/C systems, and gave a proposal. It was a very informational experience.
